More than a year ago, we installed a VICI Helium Purifier (HP2) in the gas chromatography QC department of TEVA Czech Industries s.r.o. for the purification of helium, which we use as a carrier gas.

Thanks to it, we were able to reduce the quality of purchased helium to 4.8 while maintaining sensitivity, for example on GC/MS/MS, but also on FID and TCD detectors, and thus significantly reduce operating costs. The purifier works flawlessly and maintenance-free all the time and has already used 20 pcs of 50-liter helium cylinders. During that time, it has more than paid for itself. The purifier has very compact dimensions and low electricity consumption.
