MSPE filters (Micro-Solid-Phase-Extraction)

Micro-Solid-Phase-Extraction (MSPE) is a very simple sample preparation technique. MSPE uses a centrifugal filter with a membrane and a sorbent. MSPE tubes do not require the use of an SPE manifold and thus significantly simplify sample preparation for which a centrifuge is used. MSPE tubes are fitted with a membrane filter ensuring sample filtration after extraction. This avoids the use of syringe filters.

YMC-Accura

The new YMC-Accura Triart (U)HPLC columns are characterised by a bioinert surface coating on the column body and frit. YMC-Accura columns are ready to use without any preconditioning, unlike the analysis of sensitive substances using standard columns. The sensitivity is significantly enhanced and precious samples are recovered without any loss. The coating is less hydrophobic compared to the PEEK-lining used in the YMC-Triart metal-free (U)HPLC columns. It is intended primarily for challenging substances such as oligonucleotides, nucleotides, selected proteins/peptides and metal-coordinating small molecules e.g., organophosphates.

New surface coated hardware greatly suppresses interaction between analytes and column inner surface. All Triart materials can be packed & UHPLC compatible columns are also available. It can be used with the same manner as regular stainless steel column. Stainless steel processed by bioinert surface coating (all wetted parts including frits).

Endura-Seals Injection Port Septa

Endura-Seals are a new patented CRS alternative to typical silicone-rubber injection port septa for gas chromatography. They work in a 2-part sealing system that includes the septa and the sealing nut. The duckbill valve and wiper seal combination in the Endura-Seals is much more resistant to needle wear and tear than traditional pierced septa. While CRS premium septa are already designed to reduce coring (particles in the liner), the Endura-Seals allow the needle to glide through the valve to virtually eliminate such particles.The Seals utilize a more cost-effective elastomeric spring design instead of the metal spring used in some competing designs. These features make the Endura-Seal septa an ideal choice for automated analyses in the long sequences used with today’s high capacity autosamplers.
