The Sepapure FF4 Glutathione column contains 4% agarose with a particle size of 100 μm. This column is suitable for affinity chromatography of proteins labeled with GST (glutathione-S-transferase). Separation takes place on the basis of the specific binding interaction of GST and glutathione, which is immobilized on the stationary phase. In this way, GST-labeled proteins can be quickly and easily separated from the cell lysate. The column can be used in a FPLC system at a pressure of 3 bar.
