Characteristics
- High purity: Very low trace metal content, does not adsorb nitrous and sulfur dioxides, prefired at 1000°C for 2 hours to reduce
organic contamination
- Highly resistant to chemical attack, biologically inert
- Easily sterilized: Can be baked or autoclaved
