Safety class 3.1 (standard DIN 12880)

Double over-temperature protection: if the set temperature is exceeded, an electronic control and an electromechanical one, both adjustable by the operator, intervene in succession. Even in the event of an improbable total failure, the second protection is able to promptly interrupt the supply of the heating element because it is constituted of a fluid expansion switch and a temperature probe totally independent from the electronics.
