Clean-Up CNP (Cyanopropyl) endcapped 200mg/10mL, 50 pkg

This sorbent is composed of a silica backbone bonded with cyanopropyl chain. A medium polarity sorbent with many uses, CN is ideal for applications in which extremely non-polar compounds would be irreversibly retained on high carbon load sorbents such as C8 and C18 and can be used in both reverse and normal phase mode. In addition to weak hydrophobic interactions selective interactions are possible due to the high electron density of the CN group.

General method 1 for column with 100mg of sorbent

1 mL 5 % Methanol in DI Water, dry under vacuum for 2–5 min

Elute

1 mL Methanol

1 mL Hexane

Load

Pretreated sample

Wash

1 mL 5 % Dichloromethane in Hexane

Elute

1 mL Hexane / Dichloromethane (1 : 1) or Hexane / Isopropyl alcohol (1 : 1)
