Triart is available for both classic analytical HPLC systems (3 and 5μm) and for UHPLC (1.9 μm). In addition, these phases are also offered for semipreparative chromatography with column IDs of 20 and 30 mm (5 μm) and as bulk material with particle sizes of 10, 15, 20 and 50 μm.

ALTERNATING POLYMER AND SILICA GEL LAYERS (YMC-TRIART)

The Triart particle is composed of alternating layers of organic silica gel. The patented production of these particles is based on the principle of granulation, which allows very good control of both particle size and pore size (droplet granulation micro-reactor technology). The result of the very narrow particle distribution is high efficiency and low back pressure of these columns.

Another innovation is the so-called multi-phase endcapping, which ensures perfect coverage of free silanols and thus improves peak profiles, especially when separating basic compounds. In this process, reagents with different reactivity are used for maximum coverage of free silanols in a three-step reaction.
